The Municipality of Bujanovac is a territorial unit located in Southern Serbia in the Pčinja District, east of the Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija, and north of North Macedonia. The Municipality covers a surface area of 461 km2. According to the 2002 census, there were 43,302 residents living in the Municipality, while according to estimates from 2011, there were 38,300 residents in the Municipality of Bujanovac.
