Bor is a town settlement and the administrative centre of the Town of Bor and the Bor District in Eastern Serbia. According to the 2011 census, there were 34,160 residents. Bor is a mining industrial town with developed non-ferrous metallurgy. The Town was founded in 1945, and the settlement itself was founded around 1800.
