The City of Subotica solemnly celebrated its holiday – City Day. Deputy Mayor Srđan Samardžić, in his address at the ceremonial session, particularly emphasized the importance and implementation of the “Clean Serbia” project.

Deputy Mayor Srđan Samardžić stated at the ceremonial session marking Subotica’s City Day that the achieved results are proof that strategic projects do not remain just promises but become reality. He especially highlighted the significance of the national project “Clean Serbia.”

“One of the most important projects, both for our city and for our country, is the national project ‘Clean Serbia’ – the largest investment in sewage infrastructure in the last few decades. The implementation of this project, which provides better living conditions for the people of Subotica and reduces environmental pollution, began in Subotica at the end of December 2024. This is proof that Subotica has the support of the state and that strategic projects are not just promises, but reality,” said Samardžić.

Samardžić explained that the project covers nearly 61 kilometers of network in the areas of Palić, Bajmok, and Subotica.
