The Municipality of Kučevo faces numerous projects in 2025, one of which is the further implementation of the “Clean Serbia” project.

In a statement to the local media, the President of the Municipality of Kučevo, Nenad Mikić, announced numerous projects for the new year. When it comes to infrastructure projects, Mikić particularly highlighted the “Clean Serbia” project.

“As far as communal infrastructure is concerned, it is a continuation of the “Clean Serbia” project. I also believe that the installation of communal infrastructure through the main road Požarevac – Kučevo in Rabrov will be completed very soon,” Mikić said.

According to him, in December, the contractor submitted a request for a building permit for the construction of a wastewater treatment plant.

As for Kučevo specifically, Mikić said that works have begun on the reconstruction of the water supply and sewerage network in four streets. “After the completion of the works, we plan to lay new asphalt and replace the asbestos pipes, because those streets have never been built before,” Mikić said.
