The Municipality of Prijepolje is located in the southwestern part of Serbia on the Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro boarder. It belongs to the Zlatibor District and is the second largest Municipality in the District with an area of 827 km2. According to the 2011 census, the Municipality of Prijepolje had 37,059 residents, which made up 12,93% of the population of the Zlatibor District.
