The most important project for Sremska Mitrovica is the construction of a sewage network within the “Clean Serbia” project, said the Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Goran Vesić when he visited this city.

Minister Vesić visited the works on the reconstruction of the Veliki Radinci – Sremska Mitrovica local road, which is seven kilometers long, and said that there are no small roads for it, because all roads are important – as much as highways, as well as local ones, which raise the quality of life of citizens in their places.

In a conversation with the citizens and city management, Minister Vesić said that for Sremska Mitrovica, the most important project is the construction of sewerage within the framework of Clean Serbia, since it is planned that the city will enter the third phase.

With those 38 kilometers, we will solve the complete sewage system and there will be almost no houses without sewerage in Sremska Mitrovica, said Vesić and reminded that through Clean Serbia, 2.3 million people will get sewerage, which is one of the most important projects.

When you look at this road, the sewage system and everything we are doing – it is the best confirmation of the policy of President Aleksandar Vučić – that we work in every place, that we connect every village, that in each one it can be seen that people are better off, that they can stay there to live, that tourism is developing, that new factories and new jobs are coming, and that is the most important thing – that people can live normally from their work, said Minister Vesić.
