Prijepolje Municipality President Drago Popadić, after a meeting with representatives of Eko Morava, stated that the technical documentation for the continuation of the work within the “Clean Serbia” project will be completed by the end of the summer. Through the “Clean Serbia” project, in six stages, the construction of a 60-kilometer sewage network in Prijepolje is planned.
“For now, we are close to finishing Ivanje and the stage along the road to Mileseva. I hope that by the end of the summer we will have all the project and technical documentation so that we can enter into agreements with by the Ministry of Construction for the execution of those works. The other stages, Velika Župa, Kolovrat, Raišnjevo, are being designed and I expect that we will have them completed by the end of the year, but Ivanje and Mileševa are our priority”, said the President of Prijepolje Drago Popadić after the meeting.
According to the previous meeting of the representatives of this municipality and the CRBC company, the work on the “Clean Serbia” project will last three years, and will be carried out in phases.
The “Clean Serbia” project is implemented in more than 70 municipalities in Serbia, and 32 million euros have been allocated for the works on waste water treatment plants and the sewage network in Prijepolje and Brodarevo and should “cover” about 25,000 new users.
