The City Assembly of Subotica has made a decision that the Public Utility Company “Vodovod I kanalizacija” is to prepare the design and technical documentation for the “Clean Serbia” Project pertaining to the water supply network in the Industrial Zone “Mali Bajmok” and improvement of water supply in the settlements Backi Vinogradi, Hajdukovo and Supljak.
Speaking at the Assembly meeting the Mayor Stevan Bakic has emphasized that the implementation of the “Clean Serbia” Project is the largest investment in the municipal field in the history of Subotica.
“As part of the ‘Clean Serbia’ Project, 110 kilometers of sewage network and two wastewater treatment plants will be constructed” Bakic stated.
As could be heard at the Assembly meeting, Palic will be the first city territory that will be 100 per cent covered by a sewage network, and in Subotica, in many local communities, sewage network will be built.
