The first part of the “Clean Serbia” Project in Lajkovac has already been completed. With the first favorable weather conditions, the works start again. After Rubribreza, Jabucje is next.

The Municipality of Lajkovac is among the first 14 municipalities which have signed contracts on the implementation of the “Clean Serbia” Project. According to the Project, the works started on October 16, 2021 at the location of the village Rubribreza – 2,732.72 m.

The President of the Municipality, Andrija Zivkovic, says that the works are progressing well and that the first phase has already been completed: “We are also expecting the reconstruction of the wastewater treatment plant in Lajkovac itself, and the sewage system for Bogovadja is in the third phase of construction. In Bogovadja, the construction of a mini compact plant for wastewater treatment is also planned, “said Zivkovic.

The people of Lajkovac point out that the “Clean Serbia” Project is the largest investment in the history of this place, considering that a total of 70 km of sewage network has been built in Lajkovac in the past 30 years, and now Lajkovac will build 30,193.93 meters of sewage networks and the mentioned plants.

The general conclusion is that the implementation of the Project will improve the quality of life of the residents of Lajkovac and surrounding villages.
