Works on the expansion of the sewage network in Subotica

At the end of last year, works began in Subotica on the expansion of the sewage network as part of the “Clean Serbia” project.

The project includes the construction of a 110 km sewage network and two wastewater treatment plants in the suburban settlements of Bajmok and Cantavir. The first phase, worth 25.4 million euros, includes works in Subotica and the settlements of Prozivka, Balić and Bajmok, with a completion date of three years.

The project will improve the quality of life and environmental protection, and it is financed by the Republic of Serbia with a contractor from China, according to the report of RTV Vojvodina.
