“Clean Serbia” key Eco-Project for Novi Sad

The Mayor of the City of Novi Sad Milos Vucevic has especially emphasised the significance of the “Clean Serbia” Project in Novi Sad as one of the key Ecological Projects through which the Danube River is being preserved and which has been implemented in Novi Sad in the past year.

“Novi Sad has entered the ‘Clean Serbia’ Project and will receive a central wastewater purifier and we will not pollute the Danube’, says the Mayor.

On the territory of Novi Sad, so far, the works have been executed at the following locations: Cenej 11,946.00m, Potisa 2,384.00 m, Kisac – Gravitational sewage: 5,906.00 m.

“We have contracted over 100 kilometers of additional fecal sewage network nad have addressed the sewage in most suburban areas. Kisac and Cenej will receive the complete sewage, and Rumenka will receive the part which has been missing, the bid has been announced. For the first time, we will have addressed the question of landfills. Isn’t all of that ecology?”, the Mayor asked as was broadcast by the national media.

Change for the residents of Pescara

In the Local Community of Pescara in Subotica, intensive works on infrastructure have been going on in the past few days. The representatives of the LC of Pescara have especially emphasised, while speaking for the Portal Subotica Danas, the importance of the “Clean Serbia” Project.

Among many works which have already begun in the LC of Pescara in Subotica such as the embankment of streets with gravel and  breakstone, repair of the asphalted streets, replacement or placement of electricity poles, placement of  drains and cleaning thereof etc., the change for the residents of Pescara will come about with the implementation of the “Clean Serbia” Project.

“Within the scope of the state Project “Clean Serbia” on the territory of this Local Community, five streets will receive the sewage network in the length of over 2 kilometers. The management of the LC Pescara is trying their best to, with the utmost efficiency, address the everyday problems of its residents, to react swiftly towards the competent institutions and authorities, and by doing so to fulfill as many needs of its residents as possible” as is reported by the Portal Subotica Danas directly from the LC “Pescara”.

Construction season starts in Lajkovac with “Clean Serbia”

The president of the Municipality of Lajkovac, Andrija Zivkovic, while announcing the construction season which is supposed to start sometime this week in Lajkovac, has put a special emphasis on the works which are in the scope of the “Clean Serbia” Project.

At the Council meeting in the Municipality of Lajkovac, the president of the Municipality of Lajkovac, Andrija Zivkovic has announced the phase two of the “Clean Serbia” Project.

“In the first phase of this Project, a sewage network has been constructed in Rubibreza, the second phase is the construction of the sewage and complete reconstruction of the wastewater treatment plant in Lajkovac. I hope that, in the following moths, the third phase of works will also start and those include, apart from the construction of the sewage network, the construction of a brand new wastewater treatment plant in Bogovadja”, says the President of the Municipality of Lajkovac.

The total length of the sewage network which will be constructed in Lajkovac is 30,193.93 meters.
