Clean Serbia: Works in the willage of Varvarin in final phase

Important infrastructure works are currently underway in the village of Varvarin, aiming to improve living conditions and enhance municipal infrastructure. A total of 880 meters of road has been paved—510 meters in Nikola Tesla Street and 370 meters in Aleksandar Ranković Street, reports krusevacgrad.rs.

In addition to road infrastructure improvements, the municipality of Varvarin is also implementing the construction of a 45-kilometer-long sewage network, as well as the installation of a wastewater treatment separator. These projects are part of a broader initiative focused on environmental protection and the improvement of sanitary conditions.

The works were visited by the President of the Municipality, Dr. Violeta Lutovac Đurđević, her Deputy Aleksandar Pavić, and Assistant Nemanja Čolić, who stated that once the sewage network is completed, all streets damaged during the construction will be fully reconstructed, and regional roads will also be addressed.

Final works on the rehabilitation of streets in Obrež-Varvarin

In Obrež, final works are underway after the construction of the sewerage network as part of the “Clean Serbia” project. The municipality of Varvarin states that it is one of the most significant infrastructure projects implemented in this municipality in the last 50 years.

In the period from November 18, 2024 to April 1, 2025 (depending on weather conditions), works will be carried out on the rehabilitation of State Road II A, order number 187, section km 70+267 – km 72+502, in a populated place Circumcision.

The works will cover the part from the Elementary School “Mirko Tomić” in Obrež to Gornji Katun, in accordance with the project of temporary traffic signals.

The mentioned works are being carried out as the final phase after the construction of the sewage network in Obrež, within the “Clean Serbia” project. As they say in this Municipality, the project ensured the complete coverage of Obrež with the sewage network, which significantly improves the quality of life of the citizens.

Streets in other populated areas of the municipality of Varvarin, which are also included in the “Clean Serbia” project, will be repaired and returned to their original condition.

Clean Serbia: Final works on asphalting in Rabrovo

Works on the construction of the sewage network are coming to an end in the Rabrovo Municipality, Kučevo Municipality.

After the construction of the sewage network in Rabrov, the final works were carried out on the installation of an asphalt curtain in St. Sava Street in a length of 472 meters.

The asphalting works were visited by the municipal president Nenad Mikić, the president of the SO Dragan Milosavljević, as well as the acting president. the director of PUK “Kučevo” DarijanDrikić as well as the member of the Municipal Council from Rabrov Bojan Tadić stating that by the end of the works on the implementation of the project “Clean Serbia” in this local community, the promises made earlier to the locals have been fulfilled.

The overall implementation of the project “Clean Serbia” in the municipality of Kučevo foresees the construction of a sewage network with a length of 24,116.00 m.
